I would vote for RG in the general election though without much enthusiasm.

I was just reading in the Hartford Courant that the latest Quinnipiac poll (take that for what it’s worth) shows Clinton beating Giuliani by 14 in NY but in CT and NJ it is a “statistical tie.” That is very interesting. If those Demo leaning states are in play, that is good news. But wasn’t there just another poll yesterday showing Hillary well ahead in NJ? 12 months to go and already my head is hurting from all these conflicting poll numbers....

What a total bunch of crap!!! All Republicans (Paul doesn't even count) would fight it, and fight it BETTER than Rudy!!!

What would Rudy do different than President Bush has done?

Expand sanctuary cities?

Push for more gun control?

Encourage more illegal immigration by telling illegals that they are NOT REALLY ILLEGAL?

Allow gays to openly serve in the military?

Locate emergency command centers in the most likely targets (like he did in NT)?

Appoint quality personnel to sensitive positions in the WOT (like his pathetic recommendation to the President of one of his buddies Bernie Kerik for Homeland Security)?

Rudy would be an absolute disaster in SO MANY WAYS!!!
