Seriously, FR has been SATURATED with Rudophiles lately. What the hell?!?!?!

Wouldn’t they be better served at a NARAL meeting or something?

I don’t have a “guy”. I only have a “girl” that I want defeated...period, end of story.
These other milquetoasts like Fred Thompson will get beat by 20 points. I like Fred but he has no juice. He’s tired and you guys think you can make a Reagan out og him, which is silly.

There is NO OTHER Candidate on either side that will fight the war on terror as effectively as Rudi would...

Do WHUUUT? On exactly what are you basing this assertion? Rudy made a lot of tough-guy sounding speeches after 9-11? He refused to give Yassir Arafat police protection? He rejected Prince Whateverhisnamewas' check from Sooody Arabia?

Big deal. None of these suggest that Rudy would make an effective President in the GWOT. They only show that he's good at making soundbites and symbolic gestures.

Point #1: How bad can Giuliani be if he has enemies such as the likes of Charlie Rangel. Giuliani just went up a couple of notches in my book.

Point #2: Giuliani is ahead in the national GOP polls probably because most GOP voters believe, correctly or not, that, he is the the most likely to beat the Hildabeast, the real enemy. While this opinion may not be the prevailing one on FR, it is across the nation.

Rudy turned NY around....and put away some of the most dangerous criminals. THAT experience and success is quite a resume to bring to the table. I don’t see the common sense in electing a candidate just because they don’t support abortion...

You can do all the smacking with pipe wrenches you want but the reality is that these other bores bring no blue states in to play. And if the GOP condidtae can not win over an states that Kerry won in ‘04, then the GOP is doomed, because I guarantee that Mrs. Bill will absolutely win some states that Bush won in ‘04.

All of the polls that matter - Likely Voters - has Rudy911 down big to Her Thighness in NJ, CT, CA, and NY.

And everyone running on the GOP side - the Republicans AND Rudy911 - trail her in the General. Rudy911 has had the most steady downward trend of all the candidates.

The worst part is: the likely voter polls also have Rudy911 tied with Hitlery in some red states where turnout is key: Missouri, Virginia, and West Virginia. He actually trails her in Arkansas, Colorado, and Tennessee.

Seriously, Rudy911 will not bring a single state from the Blue column, and I promise you he WILL lose Red State because the Liberals will have high turnout, while folks like me will work against Rudy911, not for him.

That same prevailing opinion “across the nation” wants three Democratic houses, according to the same pollsters. You ready to submit to the inevitable?

Here's the deal: you start talking about "guys" and "girls" in the context of Rooty Toots and Hitlery and I really don't know which is which. But what I do know that Rooty is just as far to the left as Hitlery on EVERY ISSUE and HE WILL DESTROY the GOP whild Hitlery would strengthen the GOP.

What about the other guys?
what are their qualifications? Like I ask of people who support the Democrat candidates; what have they ever done? Really, what acomplishments do they have that qualifies them?
I know, in here, this is bad to say, but at least John McCain has accomplishments.

Not only will Rudy NOT take any Blue states from the Dems, he could actually lose a couple of close Red states back to the Dems, such as Iowa and New Mexico. Rudy turns off a significant portion of the GOP base. If he won the nomination, and then felt no restraints on tacking to the centre and alienating the conservatives (as he has shown himself wont to do in times past), then he could even put states like Arkansas and Louisiana (where GOP fortunes depend on high turnout among white, Christian conservatives) into play for the DEMS. Rudy is NOT the guy we need.

Nice try, Rudophile, but his rabid Abortion Rights Activism is just the tip of the iceberg.

Gun Control
Abortion
Gay Rights
Hate Crimes Legislation
Death Penalty
Illegal Immigration
No tax increases pledge

The list is endless.

Better to run Rudy for Sheriff.......

Rudy turned NY around....

No, he moved the filth indoors.

and put away some of the most dangerous criminals.

He put away a few mobsters whose positions were immediately filled by other mobsters, so that really doesn't mean a whole lot. Or are you referring to "dangerous" men like Boesky and Milken?

I don’t see the common sense in electing a candidate just because they don’t support abortion...

Of course not, you're a liberal and 3500 murders a day doesn't bother you!

Just abortion? Wow, you need to do some research....lol

If you want a more authoritarian, bullying, more intrusive, more controlling, all-powerful, ‘big government knows best’, 'Big Brother' type of government,,,,,

headed by an east coast liberal who worked in the Bobby Kennedy campaign, voted for George McGovern, who as mayor publicly distanced himself from Ronald Reagan, who vocally supported and proudly endorsed a far-left, liberal, big-government, socialist, democrat like Mario Cuomo over the Republican candidate for governor (largely because the Republican wanted to cut state income taxes),,,,

who first ran for mayor on the LIBERAL PARTY ticket,,,,

and who proudly positioned himself as a gun-grabbing, pro-amnesty, pro-litigation, pro-abortion, gay-rights crusading, condescending, arrogant, and narcissistic LIBERAL, New York ‘pit bull’ lawyer,,,,

who believes in sanctuary cities, global warming, encouraging more illegal aliens to come here by telling them they are not really illegal, and whose idea of fiscal restraint is using our tax money for Federally-funded abortions,,,,

who has been a public defender of Bill Clinton on more than one occasion,,,

who was SO LIBERAL that he wasn’t even invited to the Republican Convention in ’96--after refusing to endorse (until the last minute) the Republican candidate opposing Clinton, while saying that (paraphrasing here) "he did not want to waste his time",,,,

and a cousin-marrying, Clinton-apologist--whose personal life is an absolute TRAIN WRECK (and whose blatant, public cheating on his wife almost makes Bill Clinton look like a decent family man and loving husband--if that is even possible).

If you want to abandon and sacrifice traditional, core, bedrock, conservative principles and values--a LIBERAL BULLY like Rudy is the RIGHT MAN AT THE RIGHT TIME!!!!

JUST abortion???? LMAO.
