“Party operatives still speak confidently about their electoral chances, noting there is a large class of freshman Democrats elected on slim majorities in 2006 and a bigger group of Democrats representing Republican-leaning districts. Meanwhile, they predict the presidential election will boost Republican turnout, and Republicans will try to force Democrats into casting unpopular votes as the election draws nearer”.

Whistling past the graveyard.

I cast my first vote in 1968, for Richard nixon, and never since then have I been more tempted to tell the Republican Party to F* Off and Die. The whole lot of them are corrupt, unprincipled schmucks.

The House Re-publicans, most of them, just voted en masse to exempt leftwing a-hole "journalists" from obeying the nation's laws, even if national security is at stake. And yet they have the gall to ask me to give them money.

Yet, I know that an ordinary chickensh*t sellout like John Boehner is less malignant than an ideologiocal flesh-eating bacterium like SanFran GrannyNan Puke-losi, or Bill Clinton's yclept "wife."

Sometimes life sucks and doing the right thing doesn't feel very god, or even right, even if it is.
