I'm not surprised. You, the MSM, will use any spin possible to take the truth and turn it to your own advantage. That simply shows how worthless you are; along with Dingy Harry Reid.
The purpose of the letter was to use the weight of the U. S. Senate to pressure an individual citizen. That's despicable.
It was Rush Limbaugh himself who turned the tables on the Senate. Dingy Harry, et. al had nothing to do with it. Yet Dingy Harry flagrantly tries to take some credit. And you go along with his lunacy.
Well, you're all of a kind: Despicable, disgraceful and low-life neo-Stalinists who will do anything to frame a story to suit your warped needs.
Like I stated to begin with; I expected nothing less.

One can find it most of the way down in the responses section. I visited the site through an earlier thread. As I stated, this is to be expected. Do we need any further evidence that the MSM carries the load for the Democratic Party?
Can there be any doubt, by any thinking American, that the MSM and the DNC are in bed together?

Kinda makes you think there is collusion when Harry makes his statement and gets just the spin he’s looking for, from the Drive-By Media, almost by the time he finishes his statement on the floor of the Senate, doesn’t it?
If I didn’t know any better I’d swear that as an accurate account of what really happened written by a real reporter.
The next thing you know, Osamma Bin Laden will take credit for helping the NYC economy due to the construction boom in lower Manhattan!
I have no doubt that the rest of the media will credit Reid and the rest of the dems for their hard work in raising more than 4 million dollars for charity.

Dear Senator Reid: I just saw your “Rush Limbaugh” speech on C-Span and am compelled to tell you it was one of the most despicable political acts I have ever witnessed. Your attempt to inject yourself into this noble project to raise funds for the children of heroic military and law enforcement personnel is reprehensible at least. You have brought dishonor to yourself, and through your position, dishonor to Democratic members of the Senate. Your shameful “back door” effort to associate yourself to this cause requires immediate apologies from you to Rush Limbaugh and those who will benefit from his effort.

If it was such a good and worthy cause why did Dingy Harry wait for a week to call for support until there were only minutes left to bid?

Their shooting themselves in the foot never fails to amaze me. Rush’s flagship is WABC in New York, so ABC should be shouting this from the mountaintops to reap the benefit of the publicity. But no. My God.... are these people stupid, blind, or is this becoming a soft coup d'etat. I don't want to believe the latter, but I'm at a loss to explain the obvious detachment from reality this article displays. It's not gonna get better...
