Valerie Plame: Bush Didn't Keep Word (60 Minutes: Here we go again)
CBS News ^ | 18 October 2007 | Graham Messick

Posted on 10/19/2007 3:47:34 PM PDT by Racehorse

Valerie Plame Wilson chides President Bush for not firing anyone for the leaking of her covert CIA identity, which caused a national scandal and an investigation resulting in a perjury and obstruction of justice conviction against Vice President Richard Cheney's chief of staff.

She also tells Katie Couric that she has learned of the damage that the leaking of her identity caused agents of the clandestine service and it is serious. Wilson speaks to Couric in her first interview for a 60 Minutes report to be broadcast Sunday, Oct. 21, at 7 p.m. ET/PT.

. . .

Plame says the morning her identity was made public in the column of conservative newspaper columnist Robert Novak, the world's intelligence services went to work.

"I can tell you all the intelligence services in the world that morning were running my name through their databases to see, did anyone by this name come in the country? When? Do we know anything about it? Where did she stay? Who did she see?" she tells Couric. "(The leak is) very serious. It puts in danger, if not shuts down, the operations that I had worked on."

Only the CIA knows the full extent of the damage. "There was a damage report done by the CIA. I never saw it. I certainly didn't reach out to my old assets and ask them how they're doing, although I would have liked to," says Plame Wilson.

Call me crazy, but this line indicates that Plame admits to knowing the identity of a leak at the CIA!!!

But who's counting anyhow?

She is an idiot and a farce... Everyone that knew her and her husband knew that she worked for the CIA... You would think that Novaks column actually said that She was a deep cover operative...

These people are positively idiots, they have no shame in playing the Plame Game.

I figure as long as she and her hubby no longer work for the CIA that the real perpetrators are already gone.

Valerie Plame is trying to re-stir the pot to see if she can get something to come up.

Hey Valerie, get a clue: Give it up! You are no longer a useful tool of the Left. They have pitched you off the truck like so much dead weight.

Plame speaks to Couric on 60 Minutes. CORRECTED TITLE. Plame speaks to an audience of 60 viewers 30 regular viewers of 60 minutes and 30 viewers of Katie Couric. And these are probably generous numbers. Who cares what Valerie Blame has to say. She is a proven liar as is CBS.

I guess it didn't occur to Katie, the Chosen One, to ask the obvious question, who should Bush have fired?

The leaker was Armitage, but Powell protected his secret until after Armitage was out of government. Libby wasn't the leaker and was never even charged for leaking the Plame name.

And no one would have expected the Perky One to ask the uncomfortable question, do you in part blame your husband for publishing his hit piece against the administration in the New York Times that triggered the leak?

Isn't this paraquat's 15 minutes up yet?

Sure thing, 007. Sitting on your fat butt behind a desk in Alexandria, VA by day and being an evening soccer mom is real hardcore down-in-the-weeds field work, eh? Get a job, ya skiffy bureaucrat.

She was part of a CIA op that attempted to take down a sitting President. That is much more significant than any minor inconvenience to her, resulting from her own criminal behavior.

Leaking her identity may have done some damage, but that was done by Aldrich Ames sometime before his arrest in 1994.

Ames blew Plame’s cover to the KGB. After that nothing much matters.

“Valerie Plame Wilson chides President Bush for not firing anyone for the leaking of her covert CIA identity?”

For the 1,235th time, at the time of Plame’s so-called “outing”, she WAS NOT A COVERT AGENT...
She was nothing more than a CIA desk jockey with a parking decal on the windshield of her car and an ID on her chest...nothing more.
Point, Game, Set, Match!

geeeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzzzzzzz

I guess 60 Minutes doesn’t like the fact that Plame’s book remains in the high 500s on the list of best sellers. Ho hum, yawn...

I’m waiting for this bitch and her punk a— husband to Plame out. Fourteen minutes 58 seconds and counting...

Novak's journalistic work was never intended to out a deep-cover secret agent, he was going after nepotism in the bureau. Plame's husband was hired into a sensitive position of importance even though he had zero experience or qualification for the job he was hired for.

Unemployed jackass Joe Wilson was bragging at cocktail parties that his wife was a CIA agent while greatly exaggerating her "undercover" status at least a month before Novak's story, so maybe somebody investigating ought to put Slow-Joe under oath and ask him about that. What a friggin' loser.

CBS and NBC, of course. Is it possible that a majority of American people have still failed to see the shameless bias of those networks? Or is it, as I am beginning to suspect, that the more they broadcast, the more they reveal themselves to the country?
