You are 100% right. This is ridiculous. This is as about as bad as the little kid down in Texas that got charged with a sexual assault for hugging a teacher’s aid. I’m glad I’m at the age I am now and not just starting out in this country. Further this is off subject but can you imagine the nonsense that is coming our way this Christmas?

I wonder whether a campaign of mass “civil disobedience” would be useful here? Unless the school board is completely stacked with moonbats, if every boy at the school were to draw a combat scene, and have to be suspended because of the imbecilic ‘zero tolerance policy’ the policy would get changed really fast.

The dumbing down of America, started 40 years ago, continues at an exponential rate today.
As time goes on, there are more and more days when I'm glad I'm old enough that I, hopefully, won't be around when the final meltdown occurs.
There is hope however. Homeschooling is an excellent start. A Government School "education" today is a total ripoff and a complete waste of taxpayer money.

1996...I was high school age then, athlough I wasn’t in public school.
The problem is, officials in both parties institute and back these stupid policies. I have seen no example in resent times that our elected officials have any sense. I vote very carefully, and even if “my guy” wins the rules still keep getting more stupid.

God Almighty the inmates are running the asylum.
My youngest used to eat his “cheese n meat” sandwiches into the rough shape of a gun and then shoot his Mom and me with it.
He also did a 7th grade class demonstration on how to field strip an M1911 .45 pistol (Lutheran School of course.)
My oldest got a trip to the principal’s office when the school secretary found girlie pictures and recipes for making explosives in his locker. She was getting his books because he had missed some school due to being ill. The Principal was more upset over the pictures than the recipes. Why? Because he knew my son and knew that he was a normal boy. (Lutheran school again of course.) Of course I had previously told the principal that I had taught the boys proper demo range safety procedures and had provided them with nichrome igniters so they could electrically detonate their creations.
Did he draw the gun, or did he draw the gun?
The oldest one is almost 16.
