"We're sitting ducks," said a border agent. "The government has our hands tied."

They're too busy calling the Minutemen "vigilantes," drafting "trade" deals that render our borders obsolete, and prosecuting border agents that have the nerve to do what they've been trained to do.

Preachin' to the choir, my FRiend.

Here's my little campaign slogan for him:

Are you angry that illegal aliens could be receiving in-state college tuition benefits and the son of the family down the block having just moved here from Ohio won't get that same financial break? Duncan Hunter co-sponsored _______(refer to Bill) making sure this scenario will never happen.

Duncan Hunter: You may not know his name...until you want to thank him.

No way are our elected officials going to fight to repel invaders from another country, especially from Mexico. The current bunch of spineless wimps will wait until the invaders establish bases in major American cities (assuming that they haven’t already done so) and then pass laws establishing the bases as ‘soverign territory’ for the invaders. Will the next war pit US citizens against the invaders AND the government?

Right - Duncan Hunter and Tom Tancredo are about the only contenders who really know what’s going on. I have to laugh at the MSM reporting that the base is upset with the “first tier.” They give NO fair coverage to others. Tancredo has a 96% rating with the ACU and Hunter rates very high. It’s a crock that there are no conservatives that appeal to the base. They will never get the coverage from the MSM. Look at the last “debate.” 98% of the time was given to Giuliani, Romney, and Huckabee. It’s sort of like a self-fullfiling prophecy. They select the potential winners and thereby give them all the attention - thus making them the favored candidates!

How true! I’ll never forget when Bush stood next to Fox and called the Minutemen “vigilantes”- American patriots who were doing what he should have been doing, defending our borders against an illegal foreign invasion. If a vigilante is defined as one who takes the law into his own hands, then Bush is a vigilante. He’s ignored the Constitution and aided and abetted illegality, if not by active assistance then by indifference.

The Daily Bulletin, Ontario Calif ^ | 10/16/07 | Sara A. Carter and Kenneth Todd Ruiz
Mexican soldiers and civilian smugglers had an armed standoff with nearly 30 U.S. law enforcement officials on the Rio Grande in Texas Monday afternoon, according to Texas police and the FBI. Mexican military Humvees were towing what appeared to be thousands of pounds of marijuana across the border into the United States, said Chief Deputy Mike Doyal, of the Hudspeth County Sheriff's Department. Mexican Army troops had several mounted machine guns on the ground more than 200 yards inside the U.S. border -- near Neely's Crossing, about 50 miles east of El Paso -- when Border Patrol agents called for...

“we’re the laughing-stock of the world - “

Especially since it is not like Israeli SF operators crossed the border. We are talking about the mexican (no caps deliberate) army.

Heck they are not even as good as the security forces of the drug czars. How humiliating.

Yes, it really is humiliating! I’ve never before been embarrassed or ashamed about my country’s conduct in international relations, but I am now. To see the greatest nation in the world put in this ignominious position of being battered and and wantonly abused by a third-rate, Third World nation - with the willing consent and participation of our highest elected officials - makes me truly ashamed. I never thought I’d ever have such feelings but I do, and it’s very disconcerting.

I’ve seen lots of planes at airshows. BUt after seeing one of those, nothing else comes close. Coolest darn plane in the world, bar none. Could not believe the moves, grace, and quiet too.

Yeah and we went toe to toe with the Soviets and their whole system and economy collapsed. Yet we allow the mexican army to invade our country at will.
