A Van Nuys teacher was arrested on suspicion of having a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old boy, police said Friday.
According to police, Merideth Johnson Vincent, 40, was arrested on Thursday at about 3 p.m.
Vincent is a teacher of a private home schooling group, KNBC's Laurel Erickson reported.
Police said Vincent was allegedly molesting the boy during the past several months. He was part of her home schooling group, according to police.
The District Attorney's Office filed 14 felony child molestation charges against Vincent.
Her bail was set at $550,000.

40 year old is “suspected” of having sex with a 14 year old. How much detail are you looking for? The courts will decide the truth of it all.
She may BE innocent.
I’d say she is about half guilty. LOL Of course if I was a fourteen year old and she offered me sex, she would be a 10

I Noticed they are asking anyone with information to call the Van Nuys PD. It seems to me they are just asking for the pile on. The public school teachers just flat out have sex with the students so she can’t be confused with them.
I wonder if Van Nuys PD asks to be contacted if anyone has any information on anyone who might have entered here illegally. There isn’t enough information in this article to really start one thinking one way or another, so I will wait for more facts to come in first. What is Cougar Xing?
The other article characterized it as molestation. I think the acts described in your link go well beyond molestation as I understand it. She better hope for an all Bill Clinton jury or she is in some serious trouble if these accusations can be proven. Oh, and ty for the link.
