The smoke we have in Rancho Cucamonga is coming from the Arrowhead Lake fires up on the Rim of the World. Hard to believe that since usually the smoke from the mountains travels high up into the atmosphere. The Santa Ana’s here are blowing as fast as they ever do. The smoke from the Rim is coming down the mountain with the Santa Ana winds and then traveling just above our heads here in Rancho. Gonna be almost impossible for them to handle a fire up in those mountains right now with the resources spread so thin. Traveled along Route 66 and they are piles of dirt collecting on the road deposited by the winds. Many small trees down. Gonna be living under the smoke from the Rim for a few days.
