This image made available by NASA shows plumes of smoke drifting westward from the Santa Clarita, Calif. and Castaic Lake area on Sunday, Oct. 21, 2007 at 2:50 p.m. Wildfires fanned by fierce desert winds consumed huge swaths of bone-dry Southern California on Monday, Oct. 22, 2007, burning buildings and forcing evacuations from Malibu to San Diego. San Clemente Island is seen at bottom right with Santa Catalina Island above and San Nicolas Island at center right. (AP Photo/NASA)

Scripps Ranch (The area devestated in the Cedar fire) is under mandatory evacuation. Everything to the north of Miramar being evacuated. Miramar, so far, doesn’t seem to be. Tierrasanta (another area hit last time that also has a lot of military housing) so far is fine. Not sure who it was they’re talking about military wise that’s really being evacuated at the moment.
