I posted this several months ago, but since Valerie Plame was on 60 Minutes today I decided to post it again. People need to be reminded over and over of the absurdity of this whole Plame thing. Well, ... the folks on FR don't need to be reminded, but if you have any friends of relatives who have fallen for the Plame hoax, this article might help.

I watched the 60 Minutes piece - wow, my BS meter was pegged the whole time.

These two are way out there left wing nutjobs...blinded and poisoned by their seething hatred for George W and Cheney.

I thought this show would generate a huge FR post. The fact that it didn't demonstrated how irrelevant 60 Minutes has become and how totally absurd the whole Plame Episode is.

They are truly an odd couple - primped blonde hottie (20 year undercover spy? - NOT!) + scruffy beady eyed little angryman...

The politics of non-partisan “centrist” Ambassador Wilson’s wife is perhaps best expressed by her $372 donation to the George Soros front group Americans Coming Together. Plame made her grant to ACT – the part of the “Shadow Party” entrusted with getting out John Kerry’s vote – in October 2004. However, the “undercover” agent previously used her CIA name, “Ms. Valerie E. Wilson” – and also disclosed her home address on the form – to make a $1,000 donation to Al Gore in 2000, listing her job as an “Analyst” at “Brewster-Jennings & Associates.” Thus, her hard-driving political agenda and dismissive regard for national security exposed her fellow agents to even greater risk.
