A little preview Fire & Brimestone for the spiritually challanged & homosexuals of Kalifornia.

Yet another spectacular ignorant, asinine comment.

Amazing.

Of course what would one expect from someone who can't spell "challenged" or "brimstone".

First, “challanged” is not a word. Second, San Diego is a conservative, “normal” place. Your comment is inappropriate and disgusting.

Please. There are millions of good people in California. My daughter and her family (her husband is a major in the USMC) are in the middle of this.

Ah yes, I missed the “Brimestone,” whatever that is. Also “Kalifornia.” And apparently “Fire” and “Brimestone” are proper nouns now.

Jason Davis, with CDF in Green Valley Lake, turns his head from a blast of heat as a home burns near Holcomb Creek Rd. in Green Valley Lake.

It’s amazing how every one of these threads draws these useless and unoriginal comments.

I just received an e-mail from my mother-in law. My spouses sister and her family were evacuated at 4:00 AM. They will most likely lose their home. They are finding it difficult to find any hotels or shelter. Everything is booked. They have plenty of resources. I suggested renting a luxury travel trailer.

Anyone in S Cal have any ideas? They are desperate!

Does anyone know the current total number of fires burning in SO CAL right now?

Must understand, there are many out there that are very jealous of California, it's beauty, weather etc. There have always been people like this.

In events such as this, they can't help themselves.

I responded to a comment of "burn baby burn" the other night, while firefighters put their butts on the line, and thousands of other Americans are trying to save their homes and families.

If I responded to some of these comments like I really want to, I'd be banned from this site.

Bottom line is, if your in the path of a wind blown wild fire, blowing thousand of hot embers, your in big time trouble, pool pump or not.

True, but in marginal areas, pre-soaking your home can save it from destruction.

I’d leave...Your life is more important than your possessions.”

I’d add, being a dumb A#! could get you and yours as well as a much needed firefighter killed. Don’t drain needed resources by making someone cart your tail outta there!

There are those who think every calamity is caused by sin, or what some people think is sin.

The aunt of a friend of mine is dying from cancer. Someone (don’t know who) came for a visit and berated the dying woman for having smoked, drank, and not having married. My friend was upset. I think I would have picked up this ignoramus and thrown him/her out into the street.

This fire was "out" yesterday. Looks like it's back on. This area at the bottom of the Cajone pass is VERY VERY VERY windy. From the SB Fire Blog:

215/15 interchange

A fire has been reported at the interchange of the 15 Freeway and the 215 Freeway in the Devore area. There's also an unconfirmed report of a fire off of the 210 Freeway at Sierra Avenue in Fontana.

15 Freeway shut down

North and southbound lanes of the 15 Freeway are closed due to the fire. The wind in the area was howling and debris -- everything from pebbles to chunks of trees and limbs -- was blowing around.

A piece of flying debris broke out the back window of staff photographer Walt Weis' Kia Rio at the scene. Weis was at the scene shooting photos of the fire and was not hurt.

You're welcome.

And as far as your tagline, I'm already on the job. ;-)
