Nonetheless, it would have been impossible even for these Jews to have been unaffected by the Holocaust as most would have friends and/or family who would still have been in Europe.

In addition, the Jews had no military for centuries. Thus, they had to resort to pacifistic means to get ahead. Another factor that results in much of their anti-war mentality today.

A more revealing sample of Jews impacted by the holocaust might be the european jewish immigrants to palestine/israel post-WWII.
