Go Fred! The more the media hammers him, the more I like him.

The Republican nominee who comes up against Hillary will get an education in dirty politics 101 like theyve never seen before. Hillary and her "gang" will teach a graduate level series of courses...so my advice to every opponent is.....be prepared....

The same media that claims Harvard C student and 2-time Vanderbilt flunk out Al Gore, a genius.

Either this author is a poor writer or his article has been poorly transcribed. It is so bad I don’t wish to finish it.

Village Idiot. ... The first honor has been bestowed on such great men as Abe Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, Harry Truman, Lyndon Johnson, Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, George W. Bush and now Fred Thompson. Looks like we elect the village idiot. LOL Goooo Fred! haha

I've liked him since he singlehandedly and doggedly never gave him trying to prove Clinton was a commie when he was in the Senate. He gave 110% trying to get that creep!
Seems to me the media is hammering him because they know he is the one to beat Hitlary!
Tancredo was my first choice and no matter to me if he wasn't in the 'top tier' GOP choice. But when Fred announced that was it. We all would like our vote to go for a candidate who would win.

Besides Fred’s occasional overuse of the words um and uh he is far from the ‘village idiot’. Media is just promoting a Clinton - Rudy race indirectly.

If Fred Thompson follows in the foot steps of any one of these men hell make one hell of a fine president and become a credit to this nation. [emphasis added]
Following Lyndon Johnson is not exactly a path to greatness.

They probably picked him as their target of contempt because of physical traits, which is bad. Chiefly his age, build, and accent.
Appearance is not directly proportional to leadership skills.

Every Republican president and Vice President since LBJ has been portrayed by the media as a complete and utter fool. Every Dem is portrayed as a genius.

Fred Thompson is consistently in second and occasionally third place in the race, with the elections a year away this is comfortable territory.”
Actually, the election that counts is in about 3 months. And two of those months will be completely consumed with holidays.
I like Fred, and plan to vote for him in the primary, but I fear time is running out.

The U.S. news media, who are a herd of sheep—or wethers to be exact—get their political biases and direction from the New York Times. The Times gets their orders from the Democratic National Committee.

There's a scene in Mr. Smith Goes To Washington when he first arrives in town. The media takes some photos of him and makes him appear to be a fool.
This is not a new game that they play. Some deny the game EVER has been played and that the media merely reports the "facts" as they see them.
