It also urged people to call their Senators to oppose the pact by calling a toll-free number to the Capitol switchboard 1-800-828-0498.

Come on FReepers, let's light up that switchboard, It isn't too late yet to kill this.

There's still time to stop the hand-off of 70% of the earths surface to the un.

DON'T JUST CALL THE SENATOR FROM YOUR STATE! CALL AS MANY AS YOU CAN! You can't believe how important this is! Alternate number: 202-225-3121

Surely, if we had been under the LOTS treaty in the 1960’s and 70’s, we would’ve never been able to (lawfully) construct our SOSUS arrays on the sea floor. The awareness that these arrays gave to our naval superiority was huge in defeating the USSR, and winning the Cold War.

I’m proud to see my Senator Inhofe from Oklahoma voting against this treaty. He gets it!

I hope some Democrats Senators will be voting against this POS. Lou Dobbs has been busy infecting Democrats with national sovereignty ideas. This just showed up in the thumping of the Dream Act and should show up when Law of the Sea gets kicked to the curb

Three cheers for American Sovereignty
F*** the UN’s Law of the Sea which will provide the UN with a revenue stream

Yes, I will and I’ve already done it six times telling my senators to vote no on the LOST. I will continue.

"If you want a U.N. on steroids, you want the Law of the Sea Treaty," Senator Trent Lott (Miss.) declared at the news conference.

Since when did Trent Lott support a conservative position, or do something he hadn't been instructed to by the Democrats or the White House? What's gotten in to him?

the pact, supported by the Bush Administration and the liberal leadership in the Senate,

That's mostly the history of this administration. Birds of a feather. . .
