Straitjacket Bush (Huge Barf alert)
LA Slimes ^ | October 25, 2007 | Rosa Brooks:

Posted on 10/25/2007 1:23:54 PM PDT by Kaslin

The president's warmongering remarks on the Iranian threat suggest he is psychotic. Really.

Forget impeachment.

Liberals, put it behind you. George W. Bush and Dick Cheney shouldn't be treated like criminals who deserve punishment. They should be treated like psychotics who need treatment.

Automatic reply by the left is to lash out at Bush personally.
To me it shows how close to the edge that the left is.
Some have crossed the line and are mentally deranged.

What is kookier, telling Iran there will be military consequences if they continue to build a nuclear weapons program,

or letting them build a nuclear weapons program with no consequences?

I guess it depends on your mental state. If you’re sane, you pick the former as a reasonable coarse of action. If you’re a Bush hating moonbat 12 yr old mentality leftist, you’ll pick the latter coarse of action, then whine and complain when they light one off in NYC or SF.

Right, but daily “Death to America” chants are perfectly sane.

Of course it’s Bush who needs the straitjacket and not the Jew-hating, nuke-rattling Iranian President Ahmanutjob.

Rosa Brooks is perhaps the dimmest bulb in the admittedly low-wattage LA Times OpEd lineup. That a major American newspaper would give somebody this stupid a regular soapbox to spew her inane venom speaks volumes re the degeneracy of our media.

When I tried to go to the link at LAtimes.com (I’m a masochist), all I get is “Internal Server Error”. Appropriate.

Rosa Brooks isn’t a licensed psychologist or psychiatrist. She is not qualified to make the comments she has made. Further, she hasn’t done a one on one assessment. And even if she had, it would be unethical to publish the findings in a nationally syndicated newspaper. It would be a breach of HIPPA regulations the violation of which could cause some rather stiff penalties.

She has prounounced her diagnosis to the world. And the California state board should pronouce their’s to her.

She is practicing medicine without a license in an effort to do damage to the president’s standing in the public arena. Isn’t that slander.

I doubt she understands what she has done here, but after reading the diatribe, it’s clear she could just be guilty of what she has diagnosed the president of suffering from.

And for that reason, I would hope the Times would allow us the respect not to ask us to read her diatribes anymore.

What's a constitutional democracy to do when the president and vice president lose their marbles?

Doesn't even know our form of government! Sad...

Condi should have popped the woman in the nose then looked at her and said “now I’ve got blood on my hands, happy?”

Since we are into the long-distance diagnosis business, it seems to me that lefties like this woman and Olbermann suffer from an extreme case of pathological denial. They just can't accept that Islamist nutcases like the hostage taker of Iran mean what they say when they proclaim their desire to wipe an ally of ours off the map, or wreak mass terror in a US city.

The prospect of real villains in the world just hurts their little minds too much to take. So they make up domestic villains that allow them to still sleep at night.

Oh leave her alone....

Don’t you know that we are not supposed to get our foriegn policy decisions from the Pentagon, or the CIA, or the White House. They know nothing about whats going on around the world.

Our foriegn policy should come from journalist and bloggers that write about it while sitting at Starbucks sipping a frappo.

Get with it people!!!

The U.S. is full of ordinary people with serious forms of mental illness -- delusional people with violent fantasies who think they're the president...

Nancy Pelosi, is that you?

Rosa Brooks knows Mahmoud Ahmedinejad is the one who wants to start Armageddon but she doesn't care. Liberals are more afraid of their own country than they are afraid of those who seek to destroy us. Go figure.

"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus
