Im pro-choice. Im pro-gay rights, Giuliani said. He was then asked whether he supports a ban on what critics call partial-birth abortions. No, I have not supported that, and I dont see my position on that changing, he responded. RUDY GIULIANI (R), FORMER MAYOR OF NEW YORK CITY: I'm pro- choice. I'm pro-gay rights.KING: Giuliani supports a woman's right to an abortion, and back in 1999, he opposed a federal ban on late-term abortions.
GIULIANI: No, I have not supported that, and I don't see my position on that changing.
KING: Immigration could be another presidential landmine. Back in 1996, Mayor Giuliani went to federal court to challenge new federal laws requiring the city to inform the federal government about illegal immigrants.
JEFFREY: He took the side of illegal immigrants in New York City against the Republican Congress.
KING: Giuliani opposes same-sex marriage but as mayor, he supported civil unions and extending health and other benefits to gay couples. He also supported the assault weapons ban and other gun control measures opposed by the National Rifle Association.
GIULIANI: I'm in favor of gun control. I'm pro-choice.
Republican Big-Wigs Support Pro-Abortion Event in NY
Pro-abortion Governor George Pataki and New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who also supports unrestricted abortion, are co-chairs of the 2000 Choice Award Presentation to be held on May 30 at the St. Regis Hotel in New York City. The event is sponsored by the Republican Pro-Choice Coalition, a group that is campaigning for the removal of the pro-life plank from the Republican National Platform.

There is a woman who works for one of the clinics who comes out and laughs at inappropriate moments. She is young and could find a better way of earning a living. Another abortion mill has a creepy looking guy handing out cards which say in Spanish, “abortos a precios mas bajos” - abortions at lowest prices. Just like at a nail salon!
Abortions declined IN SPITE OF RUDY not because of him.
What Rooty Toot NEVER wants to admit is that abortions fell nationwide during the 1990 at a rate of about 20%, which is much higher than the decline of 17% that Rooty claims for NYC.
Rooty’s claims of increasing adoptions are also hollow. The adoption rate has been going up dramatically for the past fifteen years or so. However, this is because it has gotten a lot easier to adopt babies from China and Eastern Europe. Rooty had nothing to do with this. The reality is that for all intents and purposes there aren’t any “unwanted” babies born in the United States — parents even want their babies or they are aborted.
We must stop Rudy from getting the GOP line. He is self destructing already.
Please note: the 700 club will today be highlighting EMC, Chris Slattery its director and the 40 days for life program. A pro life ping!
Rudy and Donna? Good grief!
National Right to Life will be deciding very soon which candidate to support. This is good, as it will keep the pro-life vote from being split several ways if we stick together.
“Im pro-choice. Im pro-gay rights, Giuliani said. “
Irredeemable. He must be expelled from the Republican Party.
thanks for the heads up, i will tape the 11 pm show
CBNNews.com - The battle over abortion has been going on for more than 35 years. Now there's a new weapon in the pro-life movement to save the lives of the unborn.
Taking It to the Streets
A 32-foot-long, brightly colored mobile home dodged in and out of traffic and made its way down the narrow streets of New York. It's a sight you don't see every day. But this isn't just any old RV. This one has a portable ultrasound unit onboard - and its mission is to save unborn babies.

Four days a week Slattery, along with his full time ultrasound technician and bi-lingual crisis pregnancy counselor, pull up to an abortion clinic in Bronx, New York. They offer free ultrasounds and friendly compassionate crisis counseling to all pregnant women who are on their way to have an abortion. "We're probably intervening with a dozen women a week who we get to take an ultrasound, talk with the counselor in either English or Spanish. We are successful probably eight out of 10 times. We're successful in turning the mother around if we can get her in to talk with us," he said.
'Operation Frontline' also reaches out to pregnant women who plan to keep their babies. Julie Beyel works with Slattery as a sidewalk counselor. "What I do is I basically look to see if women may be getting dropped off in a cab and I approach that woman to let them know we offer free help for pregnant women." She says she explains to the woman that an abortion clinic does not really help women. She explains that instead "it leaves women with negative feelings - maybe feelings of guilt."
Time for a Baby Shower
Ultrasound technician Wadiya Penzellna says the results are amazing and rewarding. She says that some of the women who decide to keep their babies will return with pictures of their infants. "I have pictures. We speak a lot, go to baby showers. It's been nice," she said. So what's the response from the abortion clinic?
Slattery says, "There's nothing they can do except the cursing they throw at us and occasional harassment of us. We're pretty much free to do what we want on this public sidewalk." He says the idea for a mobile pro-life center is catching on. We're finding people are coming here to visit us to see how we're doing this from around the country," he said. "We've even had inquiries from New Zealand about opening up a mobile clinic like this."
But despite the positive results, Slattery says he has one regret. He said, "I just wish we had thought of this many years ago. We're going go full whole hog with this now and save as many lives with this tactic as we can."
Because of the 40 Days for Life, the Planned Parenthood in Salem closed down for a couple of days. The four girls who came then went to St. Germaine’s pregnancy center.
Keep praying. Let’s shut down some more Planned Parenthoods.
“Hey Rooty Toot, THESE are the people reducing the abortion rate in New York NOT YOU.”
Who does he think he’s kidding??
Well, maybe some (sigh).
Speaking of pregnancy crisis centers I can remember in 2002, when Jerry Cronin ran for governor for the NYS Right-to-Life Party, he said while guesting on a radio show that A.G. Eliot Spitzer (now NYS governor) tried to close down a pregnancy crisis center that Cronin ran, claiming that it was misleading women, even though the center’s phone number included BABY in the phone number, and other things that showed that the center was to help women choose life.
A pro-life attorney helped Jerry Cronin for free, so the center he ran was saved.
Just an aside to show what bad news Gov. Spitzer is.
