Notice that the academic representative of Emory said he "could not recognize any of the students." Has the Dean ever heard of photographs, videotapes? Or, is he just seeking to avoid any punishment of the students who richly deserve punishment?

Yes, Emory deserves its blackeye. It's administration obviously failed.

I’m sure that if anyone who was at the event posts pictures of the evil-doers that they can be outed quickly enough

Best of luck on your run. Politics is business and vice-versa, however, hopefully, tort reform, retreat from deficit spending (balanced budget and a line item veto for the POTUS), securing the souther border with deportation and biometric recording of deported illegals, trade imbalances, continuing the WOT, opening ANWAR for drilling, and lobbying reform will occur in D.C. soon.

The leaves haven't been that great this year, have they? Hope you folks in that neck of the woods can get some more of this rain....the drought is bad here in Raleigh, but in Highlands, it's been exceptionally extreme.

Is ANYONE at Emory standing up for Horowitz’s right to speak?

I have not heard any thus far.

Yes, Emory deserves its blackeye. It's administration obviously failed.

Or because they succeeded.
Because maybe they didn't even want Horowitz on the Emory campus
in the first place?

Atrocious.

Free political speech quashed.

‘Course, I’d have more sympathy for Horowitz personally if it wasn’t for the fact that he himself has a tendency to use similar tactics to try to quash those with whom he disagrees on the right.

Actually the person who couldn't identify any of the students was not an academic representative but someone from the College Republicans.

I remember hearing of an incident in the early 1980s when Jeane Kirkpatrick tried to give a talk at UC Berkeley and finally gave up and walked off because of the hecklers...but the treatment Horowitz got sounds far worse.

They've resurrected the old "outside agitators" line.
