I saw a guy being interviewed on Fox about a product that he sells and installs. It was a sprinkler system on roofs and around houses but it doesn’t spray water. It sprays the same fire retardant that the air planes spray except it is clear and not colored red. If I lived in an area like southern CA I’d have that on my house.

The cost for that system was $10,000. It still seems reasonable, but it isn’t a trivial expense for most people.
