Hillary must feel that her support in the “black community” needs shoring up.

Well of course she does. Her main opponent is Barack Obama.

“As one of six national campaign chairs, Representative Lewis will focus his efforts on economic empowerment, health care, and poverty.”

Six chairs? It reminds me of the head at San Onofre (ITR) in Camp Pendleton in 1969. Ther were six commodes in the crapper outside the messhall where we would grab a smoke (unauthorized) after morning chow. Probably will result in the same product!

Corporal Martinez (Right Face, HOOO!) either never knew, or just let us do it.
Semper Fi,

Lewis Calls for Bush Impeachment

Congressman John Lewis (D-Atlanta)

Provided By: The Associated Press
Last Modified: 12/20/2005 9:55:00 AM

ATLANTA (AP) — U.S. Representative John Lewis said in a radio interview on Monday that President Bush should be impeached if he broke the law in authorizing spying on Americans.

The Democratic congressman from Georgia told WAOK-AM that he would sign a bill of impeachment if one was drawn up and that the House of Representatives should consider such a move.

Lewis is among several Democrats who have voiced discontent with Sunday night’s television speech, where Bush asked Americans to continue to support the Iraq War. Lewis is the first major House figure to suggest impeaching Bush.

I think he said that 200,000 million slaves were lost on the voyages from Africa, a number he has absolutely no evidence to support. Even if he is “kept on a tight leash”, I am amazed that she would want him as her national campaign manager. He will be the national face of the Clinton campaign and there will be many opportunities for him to embarrass himself and the campaign. I wonder if he will make it until election day

Right now it’s just important for Lewis to be around until Hillary is nominated and Obama is no longer a threat. Then this political crack whore can resign “for health reasons.”

Oops! When I read your reply, I realized that I put 200,000 million rather than 200 million. He doesn't have any proof for that number either. I was thinking the same thing - that he would resign, as you said, for health reasons or to "spend more time with his family". I would think that black people would see right through this charade, but they probably won't.

In the black political world not many are criticized for putting forth absurdities. They are lauded for making it in the news no matter how outlandish their statement is. But Lewis will be representing Hillary, and if he is not restrained, will embarrass her campaign.

Then again she may hope that by employing this funky Steppin Fetchit she will be seen has having compassion.

The Clinton version of Godfather II? Or is it III? Note the irony of Her Thighness’ making an advert based on The Sopranos.
