Thompson supporters were shocked when Dan Hughes, the Tennessee senators enthusiastic front man in the key primary state of New Hampshire, switched sides last week and became vice-chairman of McCains state campaign. Anybody think there is a chance that Thompson and McCain team up?

If so, I give Ron Paul the inside track.

Thompson did co-chair McCain in 2000.
McCain was also endorsed by the Log Cabin Republicans.

Anybody think there is a chance that Thompson and McCain team up? That's what I've been thinking. Thompson/McCain. I think I could pull the lever for that combination.

Anybody think there is a chance that Thompson and McCain team up? FWIW, they worked closely in the Senate, and Thompson chaired McCain's 2000 bid.
