Do you? I've seen some strange logic right here on FR regarding various candidates and the reasons to support them. Anyone who thinks Giuliani is a Republican is not thinking clearly, or is not themselves a Republican/conservative. I wonder who we are going to have as our nominee, given that on a site that is considered "far right" by many we could have so much interest in a Giuliani presidency. It does concern me.

I really do believe that most of us are convinced that the primaries are manipulated.

I can see why when you look back at the 2004 race when Dean was the presumed leader. In walks Kerry who really wasn’t talked about much, for good reason, but he takes the nomination.

Look at the media like FOX, even today they are languishing all kinds of attention on Rudy. They are even crafting programming like the irritating abortion feature, to smooth opinion for Rudy.

Romney also gets far less attention. Fred? Well they seem to give him some attention, but it is all cast in a negative light. He’s the slow one, he doesn’t have the fire in his belly.

My guy Duncan, appears very infrequently and gets a 30 second spot.

Take all of this together and a lot of conservatives have figured that their desires won’t be of consideration to the GOP.

Sad race. You would think if the GOP really wanted to beat Hillary, they would choose a fine candidate that they know all the voters could support.

National Security will trump all.

If true, folks won't vote for an ex-Mayor that has no National Security experience and couldn't see terrorism when it was staring him in the face in NYC. Other than cleaning up NY after an attack, Rudy was clueless. When a terrorist shot up the Empire State Building, Rudy wanted to take our guns away! Just because he has now read a few books and gone to "terrorism school," being coached by a bunch of presidential advisers, doesn't make his experience any greater.
