When a major presidential candidate refuses to reveal the specifics of her campaign program, taking the position that she "won't answer hypothetical questions," how are we to gauge her candidacy and intentions?
There's only one way: We must become detectives, reading her statements - particularly between the lines - to figure out her ideas and likely governing philosophy. And we also need to examine the agenda being formulated in Congress by the left wing of the Democratic Party to help us to fill in the blanks in assessing Hillary's true intentions.
She'll never tell us.
The headline to this article is intentionally conditional ("what she'd do", not "what she'll do") because, despite her front runner status, she is, thankfully, not inevitable. But we can't ignore her commanding lead in the Democratic Primary (Rasmussen has her at 46% with Obama at a puny 18% and Edwards out of sight at 11%) and her strong showing in general election matchups (she beats everybody but Giuliani).
So it is definitely appropriate to read the tea leaves and project what President Hillary would do if elected.
The answer is not pretty. If she is elected, as it looks like she will, there is a very good likelihood that she will bring with her a heavily Democratic Senate. With four Republican incumbents endangered (Coleman, Minn; Sununu, N.H.; Smith, Ore; and Collins, Me) and four open seats likely to go from Republican to Democrat (Virginia, N.M., Colorado, and, possibly Nebraska), she could have 58 Democrats at her beck and call, making a filibuster unlikely.

She has a long record.
If elected, America can expect:
1) total Clinton control of the IRS
2) total Clinton control of the FBI (including all accumulated files for DNC use, as it partially is now).
3) Clintonian indoctrination beginning at age 3
She’s very stealth about where she wants to take the country, and the MSM with a wink and a nod are sure not going to ask her.
I honestly don’t know if we can survive four or eight years of her new bureaucracies and federal court appointments, but I think we are gonna have to try.
If you liked Carter, you’ll love Hillary.
....I wish she would start talking about the need for gun control and gay marriage rights.
That ‘s the problem. No scrutiny from the media. That really shows (as if we had doubt) that they have lost all objectivity.
Talk about your end of life as we know it bleak future. We better pray hard this woman doesn’t make it into office. I’d rather have four years of Rudy as opposed to her. Otherwise, everyday will be a day on the front lines making the immigration fight look like a comedic tiff.
Needless to say, I regard the prospect of eight more years ( never fear a four-year Co-Presidency; the symbiotic Media Hive will assure another four if Hillarrheah! is ever allowed to slither in to office... ) of nearly a decade more of this Hillbilly Clown Car Circus
with apprehension- will we see another surge of resistance to her loony ideas, ala the first incarnation of Clintonism, or will America go quietly into that Good Night?
Anticipating eight years of that horrible screech lecturing her lessors every day on TV gives me the creeps.
To say nothing of the prospect of a rerun of Clinton I & II-- the Friday night data dumps, the bobbleheads on TV nodding at The Received Wisdom from their betters, the all abortion, all gun control, all suppress free speech-- all the time...nonstop propaganda...
I'm not the first to follow The Lady MacBeth of Little Rock:
Bill Clinton entrenched many into various offices of government.
George W. Bush failed to replace many of them, so many of them are still there.
If Hillary Clinton gets elected, she will entrench more, and it could take decades to ever clean them out.
GW, by not prying them out when he came in, didn’t do the Republicans or the Nation any favors by trying to emphasize ‘cooperation’ in his first term.
The Clinton machine could direct governmental affairs long after an 8-year HClinton presidency ends.
“If elected, America can expect:”
Civil war.
Something for all the “I’ll vote third party before I’ll vote for Rudy/Romney/McCain etc.” folks to keep in mind. We could do a whole lot worse than our guys. And we just might if we aren’t careful.
If elected, America can expect:
being taken over by China.
The article fails to mention that she will doubtless greatly expand the so called Americorps into full fledged mandatory 2 year “community service” for 18 year olds which will be a stealth reinstatement of the Draft and she will tie Social Security benefits to mandatory community service for retiree’s.
This evil know’s no bounds.
It worked for her when she ran for the Senate in 2000, so why shouldn't it work now?
Remember all the media reports that Hillary will not be able to survive the scrutiny of the NY Media?
Remember how everybody predicted she would implode due to the focus of the ruthless NY Press?
Remember how many predicted that NY would reject a carpetbagger?
Remember how many predicted that her negatives would keep her out of elected office?
It's happening all over again..........
I think the reason is because democrats and the clintons in particular are criminals who will use any means they can to steal votes. And you can’t leave out the MSM who will defend them when they do.
Civil war.
Good, I'm tired of this crap.
Being one of the original 41 signers of The Declaration of Intimidation against an innocent American and his business partner, Hillary Criminal is not fit mentally to be a candidate for dog catcher in The United States of America.
Decision making frequently requires consideration of hypothetical outcomes and questions; and if Hillary won't answer hypothetical questions, she admitting she is unqualified for the decision-making position of president.
