(Not your reply, of course, but the article)
The nagging, harpy-like "ex-wives" constituency?
“What kind of demented Republican woman would vote for Clinton?!”
A Republican woman who would support Hillary! is probably socially liberal, single, probably a single mother. She’s overweight, middle-aged, divorced, doesn’t bother to color her grey hair anymore. She no longer lives with a man who can talk any sense into her. She gets most of her news from network TV and whatever her children tell her their public school teachers said.
There’s a fine line between RINO and Democrat women....
“What kind of demented Republican woman would vote for Clinton?!”
I’m as demented as they come, but I’m still not voting for that!
I’m pretty sure that Republican women aren’t that stupid...thats why they are ‘’Republican’’ Women....
I believe many male democrats men will not vote for Hillary...not quite sure the former is accurate, though...about Republican women voting for her. At best, I see people not voting for their respective sides. I could never vote democrat...unless Adolf Hitler was running...that’s about the only reason I’d vote that way and still feel some sort of humanity.
Would you vote for your Mother IN Law, an honest inquiry.
Oh, I don’t know, I’ll bet a lot of the old blue-blood country-club cuties that dominated the party pre-Reagan would vote for her. In other words, RINOs!
I have querried Democrat friends in the past and discovered they are clueless as to the stance of their Party leadership on most issues we care about. My Democrat friends are anti "illegal alien", anti "welfare," anti "terrorist," anti "tax and spend," anti most things the Democratic Party stands for.
If Republican women are pro- those things enough to vote for Hillary, who needs them. On the other hand, maybe the poll is bogus since my Democrat friends are unlikely to study the stance of their candidates enough to change affiliations. Perhaps this percent of Republican women are so dense they think Hillary is a man dressed in drag...or maybe they don't think so, they know so.
For what office?
Yeah; Larry Craig’s wife...fershure
Rasmussen Iowa:
Among Men
- Mitt Romney 24%
- Fred Thompson 23%
- Mike Huckabee 19%
- Rudy Giuliani 11%
- John McCain 6%
Among Women
- Mitt Romney 28%
- Rudy Giuliani 16%
- Mike Huckabee 16%
- Fred Thompson 10%
- John McCain 7%
- Sam Brownback 4%
It isn't just Iowa, and it isn't just Rasmussen. Thompson gets good support from GOP men, lousy from women. Those GOP men who support Thompson are not ever going to Clinton. But the GOP women, and muddled moderates might drives them away.
Yeah, uh huh....just like “this is the worst economy in 20 years”....uh huh....we believe you, as you TRY TO MAKE IT TRUE...../sarc
Possibly a very young Republican woman, who doesn’t know the Clinton history, and likes the idea of a woman president. I think this poll is wrong, however, on both counts. Hillary won’t get GOP women, and Dem men will vote for her. They voted for her in NY, didn’t they?
Oh! THOSE kind of women!!!!!
That’s what I keep asking!! WHAT Republican women??? I’m talking to quite few Republican women up here (Upstate New York) and i’ll be damned if I can find a damn one!
I speak as a solid conservative Republican woman and I can honestly say “I can’t stand the wench”. Is that clear enough?
Country clubbers. Women with more dollars than sense.
