Authorities need help in investigation of man [possible CA arson suspect]

Fire and sheriff's officials are seeking the public's help in an investigation into William Reed Brock, 44, who was arrested Oct. 24 on suspicion of impersonating a firefighter at the Rice fire.
Brock was detained in North County driving an older-model Ford pickup with personalized firefighter license plates. Inside the truck, authorities found fire equipment, including hoses, and clothing from fire agencies.
Authorities want to know if anyone has seen Brock at the fires or at fire stations. Contact sheriff's Detective Clayton Lisk, (760) 451-3110, or Cal Fire investigator Gary Eidsmoe, (800) 468-4408.

The movie was long, but pretty good. Lots of good people in it, and it was a very good story. One of the better Stephen King-based flicks.

Yeah, that guys sure looks like the actor. I can’t remember his name. He was on ST:TNG too, if I recall correctly — played a “Time Traveler” and turned out to be from New Jersey in 2030 or something like that, and stole the time machine from the owner. haha Pretty sure that was the same guy.
And yeah, I read the book first, like 1010 pages

Yep, that's him! He's in that Sci-Fi Channel series, Eureka. Watched it a few times. Not horrible, but not really worth 60 minutes of one's life, either.
