When the Vietnamese were coming here in droves my husband’s cousin worked at the Coca Cola bottling plant with a bunch of them. He realized one day that they were just catching stray dogs and cooking and eating them. They had no idea that they were doing anything wrong.

I was in the Philippines in 1944 and was invited to dinner by a past politician, we had dog for dinner. Wasn’t bad, but of course we didn’t know it was dog at that time.

My husband is a rancher and they told him at the sale barn (a few years ago) that some Orientals had bought a heifer at the auction for their restaurant. Then they killed it in the parking lot and proceeded to butcher it in the trunk of their car. They didn’t know that was wrong either apparently.

To some its normal,I know people who eat raccoons and other small animals they might think you eating a cow burger is gross.
