I saw the clip that Fox & FRiends showed with Bill McCuddy.
Matthews looks ill. If I recall he was recently in hospital with complications from diabetes. In any case I wish him well in the health department. That is one nasty disease.

Fox is pushing for
Giuliani and Hillary.
Even on Brit Hume's show. They showed Bill & Hillary's photo-enhanced image while discussing Argentine Prez-elect. Just disgusting.

Newsbusters has the video:
Chris Matthews Writes Campaign Speech for Obama
Matthews: "Good evening, I'm Chris Matthews and welcome to Hardball. The 2008 election, that's the spotlight tonight. Iowa, which starts the whole thing January 3rd, is now a dead heat between Hillary and Obama. Here's what I think Obama should say, starting tomorrow night, at the big MSNBC debate in my hometown of Philly.
Quote: 'This country is in a rut. A rut that leads to endless war in Iraq, that leads to inevitable war with Iran. The American people and not just the Democrats want to get our country out of this rut. The great majority of them want this election to take us to a new place, not just led by someone smarter along the same rut. I promise to take us to that new place. Senator Clinton is smart, she's hard-working, she's serious but every vote she has cast, every word she has spoken says yes to the status quo. She voted to approve the war with Iraq, she just voted with the hawks to target Iran. She always seems to choose the safe vote that leaves this country in the same rut - the rut of fearful politics and endless war. I promise change, I promise a new approach. I promise deliverance from the rut of endless war in Iraq, inevitable war in Iran. So there you have it. It's for you, my fellow Democrats, to decide. If you think Bush would have succeeded with his policies, if they were better executed, then go with Senator Clinton. If you think the Bush policies were wrong, dead wrong, I'm with you.' Well that's what Senator Obama would say if he really wants to challenge Hillary Clinton for the leadership of the Democratic Party."

This is someone in the “objective” main stream media...but Rush is a “conservative commentator”.
To: moonman
Given Chrissy’s track record, this does not bode well for Obama. I wonder if Hillary put him up to it?

I am shocked and appalled that there are any DBM reporters writing for democrats' speeches. < /sarcasm>
I know I didn't really need to add sarcasm tag.

Chris Matthews should always have the words "Democrat operative" in front of his name.

Yes, but the reason was the comparison between both women--power-hungry, powerful marriages and political plans. Dr. K. was great when he brought up Clinton Inc.'s scheme from way back when of 8 years for each. He asked--do Americans want them back in the WH? What will Bubba's role be? She can't just have him roaming around or again as president. She needs to be asked about this NOW. He also said that apart from our love of the Kennedys, Americans do not like dynasties.
However this morning on Fox & Friends, the author of President Ford's book declared that Ford thought Mrs. Clinton would be president. I just can't listen to another word about this woman. Hopefully, America will feel the same way.

Hopefully, America will feel the same way. You made my point. F&F used to be objective atleast on weekdays. Why on earth they thought that liberal author desrved 2 segments spewing anti-Bush pro-Hillary push while writing a dead Prez. They gave barely one segment for Bill Sammon for witing about our current Prez.
IMHO, don't FAKE like a Conservative channel while behaving worse than a liberal channel.

Does anybody ever notice that Obama actually works hard at keeping double-digits between himself and Her Heinous?
Bill O. was discussing Obama's campaign with some Dem strategist last night...Bill was asking why he only appears on shows like Ellen (dancing, no less) and Tyra Banks. Is he afraid of being asked tough questions???
The Dem woman said that this was just SO important to reach out to young voters and women; that he was going for the likability factor first. Bill asked--so what's next? Dancing with the Stars???

Anita, I agree...that segment was sickening. And then they held him over! And did you notice they barely let Dick Morris get a word in edgewise?
