Thread looks great! Thanks for hosting this week
ST, Got an extra ticket? Maybe I’ll jet in for the weekend ;)
Tried to prod someone else, but they woulnd't budge.
That makes at least two Flash fans that will be there. :)
yeahah! It will be a great time!
Phew I’m finally home. Pooped.......cooked all kinds of stuff for them, now I don’t have anything here to eat. LOL
If anyone is interested there is a news conference video of Jr yesterday. I was concerned about his manner and speech in the beginning. He took quite a hit on the drivers side there on Sunday. He said he was sore and hungry when they asked him if he wasn’t feeling well. He was really not himself at all.

first?
tenth?
Nascar Now, Tim Brewer was really upset saying the lug problem is because the pitcrew is trying to get the fastest pit to gain a bonus. In this case it could have cost the driver his life.
The dang thing was loose after 40 laps or so the entire race according to Jr. Once it’s stripped there’s no fixing it.
Almost, some found it before I pinged. :D
Of the four races I passed up this year, two were at California Speedway, so I can’t speak for those, but Sunday’s race at Atlanta Motor Speedway was the emptiest track I’ve seen in 15 years of covering at least a majority of the Cup races. I took a pretty detailed look through binoculars, and I believe the place was no more than half full. The race report listed attendance at 100,000, and my opinion is that it was padded by at least 30,000 and probably more.
There’s a point race between the most successful active driver and the reigning champion. I was told earlier tonight that the TV ratings were off 16 percent. What gives?
There are signs everywhere that the boom is over. NASCAR is still very popular, but the sky is clearly no longer the limit.
What does NASCAR do? It appears to be wholly incapable of even considering the possibility that anything it does is unwise. Without some recognition, there’s little chance of a remedy.
NASCAR officials won’t even entertain the possibility that (a.) everything about the running of races has become too gimmicky and tricked up, (b.) not everyone likes the Chase, (c.) the Car of Tomorrow is a generic, ugly boondoggle, and (d.) there’s not one shred of evidence that willfully abandoning its roots is accomplishing anything other than running the sport’s most loyal fans away.
So the S.S. Minnow just forges ahead, full steam, oblivious to the icebergs, Gilligan in charge. The Professor can make a radio out of a pineapple but can’t patch a gash in the hull.

Jr looks like he was rode hard and put ta bed wet!
That it will be, when I finally get this week out of the way!
Don't know about Atlanta's attendance, but I do know Texas will not be full. More of an issue with scheduling than anything else. Saturday is the opening day of deer season.
There’s already hunters in town. Ugh. Probably a hot button issue but I don’t like it.
I am still concerned about him.
Something was different.
He said he didn’t have a concussion, he better not, he’s had two already. I didn’t know the test for that is if you lay on your back and don’t get dizzy you don’t have one.
Great Photos Gal!!! When is Boris going to displace Rusty on the Boob?
Personal question... Are you free to drive one of my cars this weekend at TMS...
