"He was candid, intelligent and spoke to me as though we weren't 54 years apart in age," she writes. Moral of the story (according to Dan Blather): forget sleeping your way to the top and concentrate upon liberal propaganda - there's more than one way to whore yourself to the top in the MSM, and "fake but accurate" (sic) is the way to go for aspiring liberal journalists.

Rather has no credibility to criticize anyone. A summer intern at a weekly newspaper would not be fooled by the “documents” Rather and his producer were fed. Rather proved he lacks the most elementary skills of reporting. He got to the top, like any television “personality,” with his voice, looks, acting talent, and his willingness to stab colleagues in the back.
