1) A documented, verifiable lesbian relationship on Hillary's part; or
2) A documented, verifiable extramarital affair between Obama and a white woman,
3) A documented verifiable homosexual relationship on Obama's part .
Nothing other than those things would potentially be derailing to either campaign: given Bill's catting around, most people would (I think and I can't stand her) not hold a heterosexual affair against Hillary, and, even though Obama is seen as something of a 'mr. clean' his having an affair would not be disqualifying unless there were more to it, such as it being inter-racial or homosexual.

A typical family pattern that results in a child becoming homosexual is an absent father and a dominant mother. It doesn’t always work out that way, but it does fairly often.
I bring up the possibility because, when you think about it, that seems to be the story of Obama’s life. He had two fathers, both Muslims, both difficult or absent; and a dominant, trendy, rich hippie mother.
Sure, he’s married, but politicians often use marriage for cover.

...hints strongly at it being something homosexual. It also suggests the object of the rumor is a Democrat. Media people know this would hurt the Democrat, so they are loathe to report it. They justify not reporting it with the PC derived rationalization that it's not newsworthy -- i.e. that it's not relevant. The problem is that the public would certainly find it relevant and newsworthy, so that's not a very good excuse. Hence their dilemma.
None of those things would harm a Hussein candidacy. They would only render the man virtuous in Democrat eyes. So far he is too clean to be a credible Democrat.
I believe your number 3 is it. Obama on the down low. They will only use it if he starts to attack the beast.
