I’m just thinking.....it might be a prank by some other than white folks.....and the press would probably not even be talking about it......yes, it’s stupid. But, it’s also a political/diversity hot potato.

Without question it was a stupid move.

Stupid People make bad employees.

No, Texas is an employment at will state.

They can fire you for whatever reason they like.

Your employer can fire you for hanging a Christmas card in your office or even hanging a picture of your wife...I'm happy to say that I was able to take early retirement several years ago partly so that I would not have to deal with such outrages of preferential treatment for certain special groups - excuse me, affirmative action - and the kinds of insults you mention......

Not if it’s unjust. And I would pursue the case to the highest court if I had to. It becomes a matter of money, and how much the company would be willing to spend. Since I have lots of it, it would only be a matter of time before they would cut their losses and settle, because winning will get them nothing at all.

But since I own my own company, that will never happen. :o)
Unless an employee sues my company. Then of course the shoe will be on the other foot. I’d have to decide what the cheaper thing to do is, pay them off, or take the case to conclusion.

"Those lariats look like nooses to me"

The small loop created at the end of the rope is called a hondo. It's used to pass the rope through to make the noose, that's the loop which is thrown.

The hangman's noose appears back in the thread, around Sadaam's neck.

Now, if I were an enterprising group of race baiting oppressed minority members, I’d hang a few nooses around the work place and frame someone for it. Then, I’d gather my like-minded folks and scream racism and sue for a nice cushy retirement check. Kinda like how Jessie and Al ‘work’.

Just thinking out loud.

I was refering to your Political Correctness, not your Conservatism (or lack thereof). It’s apparent on many of your posts.
