Good morning, Conor. Happy Hallowednesday.
Hope it is warm, fuzzy, scary and spooky. :)
MamaBear furnished the Pledge and all of the wonderful graphics.
We both thank you.
Hope you get back to share some spooky stories and/or graphics with us.

Hi, sistah GeeBee!
I used to enjoy carving pumpkins when my son was little. Haven't done that for years now. I think to really get the most fun out of Halloween, you've got to have kids around. Maybe I should go borrow the neighbor's kids. LOL.
Happy Halloween

Heres Arsenic and Old Lace with Cary Grant and Peter Lorre. Full film is on youtube in 12 parts. Link above is part 1. Cool! Thanks for contributing this link. I will check it out.
Happy Halloween to you!

Is it just me, or others getting "proxy error" when they try to post? Something about an "upstream server could not handle the request". (Sheesh, John, I don't ask for much. LOL.)

You two are so creative, the stories and cartoons were spooky! :) The Post looks professional, maybe you'll get a raise. lol Awwwwww......thank you, sis. Not much chance of a raise though. LOL. But, that's okay. Sweet compliments like yours are more than enough to keep us happily doing what we do. :-)
What a cute picture of Daisy!
Will you have trick or treaters tonight, Aqua? Halloween makes most dogs very nervous. Hope all of our Finest pets do okay tonight.
Hugs and Happy Halloween to you!

A simply MARVELOUS thread you two! I actually never knew the history of the Jack-o-Lantern! Thanks for putting a smile on my face!!! (((((hugs))))) Awwwww........thanks, sweet dutchess! You just put a big smile on my face too!!
Posting is almost impossible today. I keep getting a Proxy Error message. Maybe it is ghosts and goblins playing tricks on us? LOL
I think I may just have to give up and finish answering my pings later.
Hope you have a spooktacular Halloween, sistah!

Hi Mama_Bear
I have to enjoy this while it lasts. My daughter is getting older. Probably only a few more, if that, where she will want to trick or treat with Mom. I hope you get a lot of trick or treaters. :)

Happy Halloween to you too, MEG!
Looks like those pesky "proxy server" gremlins have been exorcised and the site is working smoothly again. The "upstream server" seems to be able to handle our posting requests once again. (Thank you, John, for whatever you did to fix the site.) :-)

The site's running smoothly again. Boy, it was taking forever to get one reply to post!
What is PrissyMissy going to be this Halloween?

Here is my youngest grandson, Gage, in his "transformer" costume. Unfortunately, he lives about three hours away so I don't get to enjoy him enjoying the Halloween festivities, but his mother is good about sending photos.

I will try to get a picture of my princess posted later today.
She is going as Scarlet O’Hara. She went to an AWANA Pumpkin Party Sunday night and will go to a Halloween Party at school tonight. I have to mend her dress; hope it lasts thru tonight. :)
I’m happy the kids will not be going “trick or treating”. If we get anyone it will be a first. Kids do not like to “trick or treat” in the country ...... houses are too far apart and you never know about dogs.
I tried to post a couple of replies earlier and finally gave up and finished up some laundry.

I am looking forward to seeing your Scarlett O'Hara. :-)
We get quite a few kids here. I think people bring them in from other (less trick or treat friendly) parts of town. I am afraid I am going to be a party-pooper tonight and turn off the lights on the front of our house. It just upsets Chachi too much to have the doorbell ringing every two minutes and weird looking kids yelling "trick or treat".

I am off to continue search for Toby. Gone for 18 hours now (12:30 PM ) from national park about 10 miles south of my home. Oh, Dolly, my heart goes out to you; I know you are frantic, not knowing if he's okay or not. I pray you have found him by now, and he's home getting a ton of loving.

Though your “Spiders” poem is a re-run, I still enjoyed it. It is appropriate for Scary Spooky Hallowednesday.
Hope you have a great day and post an original poem for today’s thread. :)

Thank you, GeeBee. Happy Hallowednesday.
Call me lazy ..... We used a permanent marker to "carve" our jack-o-lanterns.
Problem ........ no place to put the candle. :)
