Pro-RKBA Rights splinter groups have even recently caused some very anti-RKBA measures to pass in California.

Gun owners who watch politics at the state levels are taking note of how the California Rifle & Pistol Association (CRPA) and Gun Owners of California (GOC) made political missteps by causing a CA Fish & Game commission member to lose his job after years of his supporting them.

The commissioner then turned around and spitefully endorsed the CA 'Microstamping' bill and Lead-Free shot measures that was critical to the CA Governor signing both bills.

Basically, thanks to the frothing fanatics who had no sense of restraint at a critical juncture, California now has two new anti-gun bills thanks to pro-RKBA groups who consider the NRA to be 'sell-outs'.

The NRA has good political sense. Much better than others.

That is a good point. There are also a number of Anti-gun groups who pose as moderate alternatives to the "extremist" NRA for the purpose of deceiving gun owners. Here is the worst example: http://www.huntersandshooters.com/index.php
