I’m starting to meet a lot of people who say “Global warming is true and its truth cannot be debated”. That sounds like a good dose of Kool-Aid to me if you can’t tolerate a contrary view.

I am all for energy conservation. I think we should reduce our consumption of fossil fuel for a lot of reasons, not the least of them being that we are shipping our money out of the country to buy them at a prodigious rate. They are environmentally destructive, at some level, to recover from the Earth, and the combustion results in some pollutants, no matter what you do. So consumption reduction is a good idea, all ‘round.
I just don’t the World will come to an end if we don’t.
