Oh, what a dilemma for Sen. Clinton. On the one hand are polls showing that even a majority of local Democrats - not to mention an overwhelming 72% of all New Yorkers - are dead-set against Gov. Spitzer's plan to hand out driver's licenses to illegal aliens. On the other hand are all those Democratic special-interest groups she needs to court - the hard left, immigration activists, Hispanics - who think illegals are entitled to regular licenses, with no restrictions whatsoever.

And they say the GOP is split. This is a prime, real-world example of a REAL split party that is in trouble.
Eliot Spitzer was stopped from giving full-out driver’s licenses to illegals by Bush’s Homeland Security department (people trying to keep America safe).
Can you imagine if PIAPS gets elected? She will give out licenses to illegals like candy. No one will be safe in America. I am moving to the Bahamas if that happens.
I don’t care if it is Rudy, Mitt or Fred, everyone here should vote GOP in 2008 and forget that third party junk. At least they will keep America safe.

After the media has finished taking him apart due to his cruelty to family, his marrying his cousin, his cross-dressing, his support of Kerik, his lack of experience, he’ll look like a beached fish in vulture country.
And that’s not even beginning to look at the revulsion he triggers in real conservatives who hate his: anti-gun, anti-life, anti-family, anti-marriage, pro-illegal, pro-gay, pro-tax, radical liberal history and agenda.
The democrats are salivating to run against this guy.
Rudy’s qualification: he was mayor when someone bombed his city.

I think there is a world of diffeence between Dole and Giuliani. Dole was a lackluster candidate; Rudy is anything but lackluster. While it is true that Giuliani will turn off some conservative voters, I think in the end - if he is the nominee - many will hold their noses and vote for him, because the prospect of another Clinton administration is far more unpleasant. Giuliani will also attract some Democrats (many of whom loathe Mrs. Bill) and independents.
As an illustrative anecdote, one of my female showbiz friends who is screamingly liberal on many issues will definitely back Giuliani over Mrs. Bill. I don’t think she’s alone.

And will those qualifications suffice against a hardcore Marxist who wouldn’t hesitate to come into your house in the middle of the night and make your family disappear?
It is making conservatives gag. But that might be the reality. Stay home and Lenin in a dress is President. Come to the polls and hope that the States can handle social issues for 8 years.
