"Carey and a team of fellow comedians traveled to the Southwest Asia theater of operations to entertain forward-deployed troops Aug 24." Oddly I find myself mentioning Showtime twice on the same thread! One of the first things I watched on Showtime when we ordered it was a documentary by a comedian who 'gave in' to Carey's asking him to join and entertain the troops. It was awesome, and of course I can't remember the name of it!
I already like Carey, his tv shows and his stand up. He's a stand up guy and my 'daughter of a WWII B-17 Pilot' hat is off to him. Like Gary Sinese (sp??), he's out there doing his thing for the troops without hordes of media coverage and pomp and circumstance.
