Research Supports Medicinal Marijuana
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/02/12/AR2007021201332.html

there was also a study done in England that found a medical value to it, didn't have time to find it though. The reason the FDA won't approve it is they say they haven't tested it, and the DEA won't approve growing it in the US for tests, catch-22

"Research Supports Medicinal Marijuana"

All of those in this small study (50 patients) were pot smokers. I would think they would be able to tell good pot from ditchweed. Even then, only half said pain was reduced. Hell, 25% of those on the placebo said pain was reduced. Marinol was not even considered.

The doctor who conducted this study is a (smoked) medical marijuana activist with a long combative history with NIDA. If he told me 2+2=4 I'd double check it on my calculator.
