There are 'subdivisions' at the North Pole??? ...line in the snow???

There are subdivisions in North Pole (about 12-15 miles south of Fairbanks), Alaska and it appears we have wolves wondering through from time to time. I knew about bears and moose which are also dangerous but I thought wolves kind of kept a wider margin (until I heard this on the radio the other morning)...
