My neighbor related to us the other day, that his grown son who lives in San Diego fled the fires by taking his motorhome with his belongings stuffed inside and heading north...

...it was too congested, so he turned around and (unbelievably) headed south to Baha Mexico.

They couldn't find a place to stay, so parked on the beach.

Mexican thugs attacked their motorhome in the middle of the night, and shot out the windows and doors.

They came inside and held the man & his lady friend at gunpoint, and robbed them blind.

The man was grateful he wasn't killed.

The good part of the story is the man's home was also spared from the fire ...when he returned.

Where are they going? Why not sanctuary city Chicago?: no one will question their immigration status and they can have drivers’ licenses—two or three in as many names if they want to. And they can vote. Sure beats going back to Mexico. Socialism here is about 40 years behind statist Mexico, so they could enjoy a good few years here before social rot and democrat taxes dry up our jobs.

Oh my goodness—that poor guy and his wife. That’s the kind of welcome they give to Americans but we are supposed to roll out the red carpet for them. I just lose more and more respect for these people each day. I know they aren’t all like this—I’ve met some that seem to be pretty decent, but on the whole, it’s not a country/culture I have much faith in.
