Blah, blah, blah. If a woman chooses to place herself in harm’s way in the service of her country, good for her. As of right now, women aren’t allowed in Combat Arms, but it’s unlikely that no woman would experience combat. Fortunately, I’ve met quite a few female servicemen or soon-to-be servicemen that leave me confident that they’ll be able to fulfill their duties as efficiently as their male counterparts. Any guy that opposes women in the military is just an insecure idiot IMHO. Heck, I’ve even read at least one post on this site poo-pooing women in the workforce.

Like it or not, women comprise a sizeable portion of the U.S. Armed Forces. I suspect these women, if my experiences are in any way indicative of the norm, have carried out their duties in the best tradition of their particular service.
