I am not trying to deflect attention away from the original post. Which I did not write by the way, it was sent to me via private e-mail and I posted it. Seriously, if there is anything that in it that is NOT FACTUAL -- as you suggest.. I really do want to know about it. I have not personally researched this and took the post as "face value" because it came from someone that I trust.
I as not trying to deflect attention TOWARD you in any way.. I was simply stating that having reviewed some of your recent posts I don't see you as a "strong supporter of Duncan Hunter" so therefore when you post a comment like....YOUR WORDS IN RED
This is false
or
This is just silly and snarky. Hunter is demeaning himself, not Romney.
I take it with a "grain of salt" in view of the fact that you have not publicly stated your SUPPORT for Duncan Hunter.... as demonstrated by comments in previous posts...such as...
I like supporting RP (because I have for so long before he became so controversial) but I am prepared to let the primaries speak. If RP gets traction, great. If not, move on to my second choices. By that time (after SC), only two or three other candidates are likely to be viable and they will like be Rudi, Mitt, Fred. And I'll pick the guy most likely to beat Rudi in FL and elsewhere.

I support (and make no bones about supporting):
- Ron Paul
- Mitt or Fred (both have considerable merits as a nominee), whichever can defeat Rudi and win the general election.
- any other Republican in the field which can defeat Rudi
- Huckabee if he can defeat Rudi
I vote in a late primary. Chances are my choice will be either Fred or Mitt to defeat Rudi then the Hildabeeste.

I have stated a broad general support for Hunter many times over the summer and fall. It's not my fault if he can't get any measurable poll support or raise money. Even Tancredo and Ron Paul are way ahead by both measures. As for Duncan's few straw poll victories, even Ron Paul has won a lot more of those than he has.
This kind of attack on Romney is the last flailing of a candidate that can't attract money, measurable support, or media attention.
As for RP supporters in general, my sense is that we like Ron Paul best, Tancredo #2, Hunter #3. Tanc scores higher because of a better fiscal conservative record, less pork barreling, a longer record on borders/illegals. However, I can't recall a single negative attack post on Hunter from the RP camp. That's because we do like him.
