I hadn’t seen that first graphic by DHS before. Good find.

To me, this the enemy's game plan - to keep the GOP base split and to get kooks to run third party

Actually, Republicans are trying to get Bloomberg to run again, hoping that could split the Dim vote in some key northeastern states like NY, NJ, PA, CT.

Republicans like me who support Ron Paul in the primaries are very likely to stay with the GOP. I'm going to vote GOP unless Giuliani is the nominee. To vote for him would compromise everything I've voted for over the years. And I don't like him and I don't trust him at all. I can easily for for any other candidate in the GOP field and I think Fred or Mitt show a lot of promise.

Ron Paul says he won't run third-party. And that is sensible. It really is wrong to run for a party's nomination in its primaries and then jump ship when you lose the primaries. Even in 2000, Buchanan left the party long before the primaries for this reason. I don't think voters will vote in any great numbers for a sore loser who participates in the primary process and then refuses to abide by it. If you do that, you were never a member of the party to begin with.

Now, someone like Bloomberg who is a liberal party-hopper to begin with, he could get away with running since he isn't participating in the GOP primaries. And that's why some GOP bigwigs are trying to get him to run. He would do far more damage to Hitlery than to us. And in her key states. He would also hurt Giuliani too, another reason not to pick Rudi if Bloomberg decides to run because they both appeal to the same kinds of voters, Bloomberg being Rudi's handpicked successor.

Everyone knows that the Ron Perot campaign is being orchestrated here by HilaryCare moles. The irony would be if he drew more Dems than Repubs.

Bloombeg/gore or Gore/Bloomie would be a dream.

Concur. It would be great to see the liberal/rat/traitor vote split for a change!

I almost want Rudy to win the nomination just so I can see some of the (extremist one-note Jonny’s)heads explode around here.

I wouldn't get mad. I would just merely grab the popcorn and beer as the GOP goes the way of the Whig and Free Soil parties.

Actually, it wouldn't surprise me if the GOP bigwigs might approach Ron Paul to try to get him to run third-party if Bloomberg won't do it, the idea being that he would suck up the hardcore antiwar vote. Nader has failed twice so the antiwar types might not go for him a third time.

I think Ron Paul would decline though. He wouldn't do that to his supporters. He'll go home and run for Congress again.

Sorry, there are no real Ron Perot supporters. Just like last election there was no real InSane supporters, only crossover Dims. You and they are a mirage being generated by the DNC HQ. You and EEE may have thought you were savey enough to fool us, but you need a Conservative core to do that and you don’t.

You believed he could split the GOP and then he opened his mouth. The only people he is drawing now are serious drug addled anti-America Dims. Too Bad for you.

Romney is a Mormon. The South will never vote for a Mormon. How does Romney win without the South?

Speaking of common sense, I am joining a movement I saw on another thread.

That is from now on, no more "First Name Basis" for Mrs. Bill Clinton. After all, I have never met her, and she's no friend of anyone I know, so let's keep it formal, shall we? Mrs. Bill Clinton.

A vote for Mrs. Bill Clinton is, unfortunately for this country, a vote for Mr. BIll Clinton. Remember that: "Mrs. Bill Clinton" That's all she is and all she is ever going to be.

Ah, I like a person who thinks. You hit the nail on the head and it’s just not the Dem party; it’s ours too. The point is to keep our party divided so they can elect whatever anti-american or rino they can to keep their agenda moving forward.

"Mr. Giuliani has said he'll appoint judges like Chief Justice John Roberts and Samuel Alito."

Unfortunately, there is no record of Rudy appointing conservative or "constructionist" judges while mayor of NYC. Why we should believe him is beyond me.
