It is a fact of life and excusing a loss because it is the “fault” of those damned Christians or Gun-nuts or whatever does not change things. Giuliani is a LOSS for the Republican Party, nominally and substantially, whether he wins or loses the election and he must lose it. He is the only actually unelectable Republican candidate and the only thing that can guarantee a win by Mrs. Clinton. Giuliani is a stalking horse for Hillary Clinton.
