Haven't seen any of this in any of the local papers around here.

This is great news. Of course the MSM is ignoring it. But history appears likely to prove our side right, even if the Iraq War wasn’t always carried out without error.

I just had the BBC on (I’m traveling abroad at the moment, don’t blame me), and some University of Virginia prof was speaking. One of his statements was along the lines of: “The war in Iraq is a disaster. Anyone who’s been paying attention in America knows it’s a disaster.”
What a load of BS. The only reason ANYONE “knows it’s a disaster” is because the media constantly pounds home that incorrect (and frankly, traitorous) message. If we can keep the Dems out of power in the ‘08 elections, Iraq has a great chance to blossom into a vibrant democracy.
In the meantime, I hope this professor gets his butt handed to him for his anti-American remarks. Fat chance, though.

I’m listing this in “Breaking News.” I think this is huge.

During a five-day stretch between October 19 and 23, there were no deaths among coalition forces. Although three US servicemen died from "non-hostile causes", this was the longest period without combat deaths for almost four years. And, between October 27 and 29, there were more days without coalition deaths.Didn't hear that on the news here either.

I'm waiting for the daily body count to be compared to Philly, or L.A. It might be enlightening.
When the war first started, they compared the size of Iraq to California. How many people were murdered in California each year since the war started? I know the census showed over 2000 in California in 2000. Iraq deaths were less than 2000( American) for 2-3 years.

There were a TOTAL of 7 killed in Iraq yesterday. That’s 7 Iraqis. It’s fewer than California.
