I underwent SERE training while in RECONDO School.
Does that mean the US Army tortured me?

I went through Basic Training — at Miami Beach. Does that count?

I went through Basic Training at Miami Beach. Does that count? Probably - At least to the surrender monkeys in Congress and on the left.

I got here first. Anyway, I bet I outrank you. What’s your date of rank, Private. I’ll bet I go busted before you did.

When I tell my kids some of my "war stories" they look at me like I'm from another planet.
But I've overheard them bragging about 'the old man' to their friends, so it evens out, I guess. ;^)

I occasionally told my son some stories of my time in and he also looked a little puzzled. But I knew that if he ever served he would understand and pick up a few of his own. He went into the navy about three years ago and I am not at all sure I want to hear his stories!
To: 17th Miss Regt
LOL! I’m sure you’re proud of him! And he of you!

In fact, after hearing the names of some of the ports he has stopped in, I know I don't want to hear some of them.
At least I won't hear about Tu Do street from him.

Your choice of screen names says a lot. I’ll bet those were interesting times.
