If You or Any of your American friends/family are Tortured ....

If You or Any of your American friends/family are tortured sometime, you might blame Neil Boortz.

There he is on National Radio (today 11/2/07) directing Americans that torture is ok as anyone not in uniform are not covered by the Geneva Accord? He says 'torture the bastards'. But Who are the bastards?

This is a real hoot. A must read by a kooky Brit, who hates Neal Boortz, Hannity, etc. and America, yet lives in Florida, and is almost as good as Joseph Goebbels was at ignoring the rel meat of a statement and elaborating small bits of truth into twisted propaganda.

I would love to see him debate with Neal this comment Neal wrote for Today's show about the subject:

THE WATERBOARDING DEBATE

U.S. intelligence officers confirm that waterboarding has only been used on three al Qaeda figures. The technique hasn't been used since 2003 and been prohibited by General Michael Hayden since he took over the CIA. Officials say that approval from the White House to remove waterboarding from the list of approved interrogation techniques came sometime last year, but has never been publicly disclosed by the CIA.

Now, the most extreme technique left for CIA interrogators to use is "longtime standing," which includes exhaustion and sleep deprivation as prisoners are forced to stand with their feet shackled to the floor.

CIA officials say the most effective use of waterboarding was in breaking Khalid Sheikh Muhammed, who ultimately took responsibility for the 9/11 attacks and other al Qaeda terror plots including the beheading of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl. A senior CIA official says that it was only because of waterboarding that Mohammed talked.

I have yet to see any compelling evidence that waterboarding actually amounts to torture. So .. the guy thinks he might drown. Does he drown? No. Does he nearly drown? No, again. Is there any real physical harm? Don't think so. If we define torture as making someone think that something bad is going to happen to them ... then what do we really have left?

Let's say it again: If someone has information that might save thousands of Americans from imminent harm ... do what you have to do.

Neal would eat him alive.

More people have died in Teddy Kennedy’s Oldsmobile than have died from water-boarding.

If anyone in my family is a hardened criminal or terrorist and American lives are at stake, I say they made their bed, do what you must to get information.

I'll go you a step further - I'll report them and hold them where they are until HS gets there.

Plenty of Americans Have Already Been Tortured.
Not in response to waterboarding, but because the enemy is terrorism, and that is what terrorists do. They don’t need an excuse. Brutality is their method.
The only thing we can do to save Americans from their torture is WIN THE WAR.

It would be nice if these Alpha Hotels were as indignant about their mutilations and beheadings.

As usual, a Leftist knowingly lying. First off. The US does NOT torture anyone. Challenge to every single Leftist. Define torture. See they throw these pejorative terms around while NEVER ever actually defining what they mean by torture.

See in the wako world of Leftist hysterics like this author, talking from talking nasty to these scum bag murders on up is “torture”. However they know full well most Americans will laugh them to scorn if they actually try being intellectually honest and define what they mean by "torture". So instead the Leftists shamelessly demagogue the issue hoping to blind with emotion otherwise rational people.

Get rid of waterboarding and revive the Dilbert Dunkers. I was always amused how that silly device made grown men cry.

If any Americans are tortured?

You mean there haven't been Americans tortured?

I think the writer of this article needs to look up the name

Muzzies torture to try and persuade a person to change his beliefs or to incite fear in others. There is no information they could glean from torture that benefits their cause and ability to wage war on us.

We torture to saves lives be it on a individual scale or the scope of fighting a country/faction that wants to enslave the world.

Leftists (secular socialists) aren’t really opposed to torture, it’s just their “shield”, like they use their unassailable victims as their shields to keep from being called on their true agenda.

The SS are actually opposed to interrogating terrorists, and by extension, they oppose America effectively fighting the war on terror.

This is the same underlying reason to oppose wiretaps of foreigners talking to foreigners. Notice that this is always obfuscated and lied about as “domestic wiretaps on American citizens” - as if homeland security is listening in on their pillowtalk with their “side” lover or something.

People like this twit don't get it.

Why did the Japanese torture our troops? Why did North Koreans torture our troops? Why did the Vietnamese torture our troops? Was it because we weren't treating their POW's well? NO. It was because that's who they were, and they didn't do it to get information, and they didn't water board. They ripped joints out of place, smashed teeth, gouged out eyes, and crushed testicles.

Waterboarding can be used for serious torture and sadism. That's how Pol Pots forces used it. Get people oxygen deprived to the point of brain damage. The torturers get their rocks off

We use it only to extract information. No one gets hurt. Get that bastard Kalid Sheik Muhammad examined and you'll find no brain damage except what he got from Mohammedanism

Just noticed he’s a Brit. So what is torture? Waterboarding (which we don’t do anymore) or denying an operation to a man with a shattered ankle because he can’t quit smoking? Which country is “civilized”? Piss Off Wanker.
