These Dims are just scatching like cats at the door trying to get in. The problem is...these resolutions are all “anti-GWB” and he ain’t running!!! The Dems have no policy on anything.
If GW had any guts left, he’d pre-emptively issue pardons (or rather state that he will issue pardons, since those cannot be issued until charges are brought) and then sick the DoJ on the Donks to investigate leaks about military info by Donks during time of war = treason.
They want to criminalize politics? OK, fine, lets have at it. They’ll lose.

In the old days, when Congress had time to waste and nothing better to do, they would pass resolutions marking National Palm Tree Grower Day or National Pomeranian Month. But it made constituent groups happy.
Now, they issue subpoenas that, because of the separation of powers, can’t ever be enforced. But it makes constituent groups happy.
Same thing. Only today we live in an uglier, infinitely more politicized environment.
