Maan: Blair Blames Poor PA Economy on ‘Occupation’
(IsraelNN.com) According to the Bethlehem-based Maan news agency, Quartet Envoy Tony Blair blames the “suffocating pressure of the occupation” for the poor state of the Palestinian Authority economy. In an interview with a Maan journalist, Blair said he believes his role as envoy is to “offer people a strategy to get to a Palestinian state.”
While Blair was sympathetic to complaints against the “occupation,” he refused to show sympathy for Hamas, saying the world was right to boycott the group even after it was victorious in the 2006 PA elections. Hamas won the election, Blair said, and “I respect that. But if you want my money and you want my help we do need to know where you stand before I give it to you.” As long as Hamas does not recognize Israel, it should not be included in negotiations, he said.
Blair expressed support for the destruction of Jewish towns in Judea and Samaria, but refrained from saying which specific towns should be destroyed. “Those that are going to be in the Palestinian territory,” should be evacuated, he said.
What a silly thing for him to say. The Palis can’t run a sanitary sewer system.

economy... what economy??? i thought they were all on welfare.
They spend all their money on bombs and weapons to destroy same.
They spend most of their time on bombing pizza parlors.
They spend yet more time on strikes.
They spend the remaining time stone-throwing.
They have a blast (no pun intended) brainwashing their children with Mickey Mouse.
Their mobs plunder anything that remotely resembles a business like greenhouses.
But Tony can't figure out why their economy sucks vacuum.
THey spend a significant part of their time begging for foreign welfare.

What a panderer! I lived in Turkey for 6 years. It was not occupied and was (and still is) receiving US aid, plus monies for the use of Turkish bases. Did it improve their economy like it did in Germany? Absolutley not! Talk about waste and abuse...you have to wonder that they exist at all.
Chaos is all the Palestinians know. Look what they did with Gaza? Was that necessary? Moved into a haven on earth and destroyed it all. Some people need to have their heads examined in regards to the palestinian issues.
