Last year, a lib I have the misfortune to know asked me if wasnt offended at all the Christmas decorations and songs around town. I said, No, I am not a totalitarian bigot. Oh, good for you!
My personal gripe is about celebrating "Christmas" months before the actual date. "Merry Christmas!" says the clerk at the Food Lion on November 5. "Happy birthday!" I respond. "It's not my birthday." "It's not Christmas, either; it's November 5. Be sure to vote for Hullinger for Town Council and Quinn for Mayor tomorrow!"

My personal gripe is about celebrating "Christmas" months before the actual date. Yes, that is just as bad - maybe worse - than "Kwanzaa" and pagan death cult celebration around the date of our Savior's birth.
It's maybe worse because it's more prevalent, and is substituting another pagan cult (shopping) for the second most important Christian holiday.

speaking of today being election day. I always refuse those "I voted" stickers.
That way when people at work who have them on ask me if I voted I reply, no, not allowed to. They ask why. Convicted felon I tell them.
The funny part is they don't know to believe me or not.
