Agreed. If I was happier with the way he was running his campaign, this wouldn't bother me at all. But coupled with a slightly haphazard appearance, and some recent missteps, it just makes him look goofy.
Reagan could get away with his "bombing in five minutes," but Fred has yet to show that he can be consistently Reaganesque.
I had high hopes for Fred. I'm still with his policies, but I was looking forward to a more commanding presence on the stump. Good thing there's still time to turn it around.
